At least 221 cases of Chikungunya have been reported in different government hospitals of Karachi in last ten days. According to Dr Masood Solangi, the co-ordinator appointed by Health Department of Sindh for Chikungunya, the most number of patients infected by this virus arrived at Ibrahim Haidri hospital, which was 131. Furthermore, 81 infected patients were brought in Malir and Kemari, whereas, 9 came in Saudabad. The officials told that they have directed to take precautionary measures, and to improve the facilities of Chikungunya treatment.
